After a successful study, AMST has been awarded the contract for an upgrade of the ESA equipment on the DLR Short Arm Human Centrifuge :enviFuge in Cologne, Germany that will support upcoming weightlessness countermeasures research and bedrest studies. Two configurations will enable subjects to perform either resistive exercises or jumping exercises with the new sledge system. The upgrade includes sledge system, vibration plate, data acquisition system and visual guidance software. We are looking forward to advancing artificial gravity research further in cooperation with ESA and DLR.
